The conclusion of the argument, Adams Realty is superior to Fitch Realty, is judged by the estate agents, the revenue of last year, the averaged price and the compare of arguer’s two experiences on listing with the two companies, what is a compare between ten years. So arguer thinks “if you want to sell your home quickly and at a good price, you should use Adams.” All of the data seems to confirm that Adams Realty is superior, but a close review indicates that this argument suffers from several critical logical fallacies.

Fist of all, Adams has 40 real estate agents, Fitch has just 25, and many of them are only part-time. But this is unrelated to conclude that which is better. Fitch’s staffs are part-work, but their other works may relate to the home selling, and that may broad their ways to hunt for their clients and get more experience. It’s not the shortage but the predominance for Fitch.

The second, Adams is better than Fitch from the revenue of last year and the average price. If Adams is major on listing high end house, but Fitch is major on listing medium and low end house. This is a very reason of why Adams’ average price is higher than Fitch. In that town, people are prefer high end house than medium and low end house, or maybe it’s happen to that people more need high end house last year, or even more many rich men imitate last year.

IT is not obeying the right logic that the writer judge the speed of selling house by comparing now with ten years ago. As the developing of economy, people’s life is changed, it is better and better, improved a lot. It’s obvious to see that people can easy buy a house now, so the speed of selling house is more and more fast. And there may some occasion reasons make it to sell faster.

In summary, arguer’s logic is lack of convincing support. Only in a same time and a long time to watch and then compare, there will be a impartial conclusion to say whether Adams is superior than Fitch.
